I know if at least 3 cancer survivors who were high performers and had their position eliminated. Wondering if the cost of insuring these people was a contributing factor. Anyone else?

This would NEVER be a factor most companies would consider. It would be against the law and discriminatory in nature. Don't fall prey to recency and availability bias. Just because three employees were cancer survivors means nothing. How many cancer survivors in total are at Viasat? You don't know the denominator and spreading false rumors like this is damaging to those who were let go and only makes the pain of losing their jobs even greater.
I know of one person who took medical leave earlier this year. Another who was just about to take leave in a few weeks. And a third who had taken maternity leave twice. All 3 had between 5-10 years of service, no disciplinary issues, and were some of the hardest working people I knew.
Pnc? No, security are the real threat here, didn’t one of them already threaten to report someone to pnc already?
gl pnc is lurking and is probably aware of this little scheme you guys are trying to pull

start a discord channel and word of mouth will get around. If there's grounds for a class action then stick it to them!
