To answer the original post, nothing happened in Galway.
Why the redirection?
Did they realize the government penalty was too great, so they had no choice to lessen the reduction in force...
OR
Did they finally do a logical assessment of talent and realize they needed the intellectual property that is many people?
(Something tells me they had no choice due to government and tax penalties)
Running total is down to around 250 and continues to fall
400 is the running total, including pending departures.
Laws require long notice period.
