Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Let’s learn something new! 52 weeks is 264 working days!

Severance package letters, state a full working year is calculated as 264 days, math? Logic? 🤣

Same as SVPs decide who is let go, when they dilont even know the names, A BS move followed by a more BS move, you factor that to 2000 employees gone, it is a mistake of 3-4 million dollar to Schwab’s pocket, Lets do our share of 500 million dollar saving even after being let go!

"You are forgetting benefits company pays for each employee.", what benefits? Again, calculating number of days you work a year has nothing to do factoring benefits or holidays or anything, they should provide an explanation if they are adjusting the number, 52 weeks, 260 or every 4 years 261 working days, that is it.

Well, 260 working days totally makes sense to me. We are paid 26 paychecks each calendar year, at 10 work days for two weeks. I assume, the 4 dys left over is just extra pay that doesnt fit and you get that as a bonus 40% extra paycheck???
