Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Bonus - it looks like we are not getting it.

The language says that you are only eligible if:
Active in the plan on 12/31 - which we are since termination date is 01/05
And employed on the annual payment date in March - here is the catch

You are partially correct. It does say that in the ABO "rules", but at the bottom it says you will get it upon death or being laid off.

I searched the word "bonus" on my severance doc, and it's not there.

If you are terminated before the payout and not retirement eligible you will not receive a bonus.

@epx+1plpXUnm does it say years end bonus. I signed off and not about to login. Curious if they meant the 11/3 discretionary bonus.

From my experience, I was laid off , had a sabbatical tied to it so my official last day post the sabbatical was February 18 (last year). I had an exceeds and key contributor award from the previous year).

I did not receive any bonus although I was was considered an employee until near the payment day.

I truly hope Schwab pays it out but would not expect anything unless you have it I. Writing.

Employee must be active on bonus payment date.

Confrirmed from several impacted invdividuals that they would receive their annual bonus from their PL , because they are on payroll through 12/31. They also get thei severance in January somthey dont take a huge hit on 2023 taxes.
