I am actually devastated, I would've volunteered to go frankly. Half my team, not me. Sigh, if you are getting the severance, merry late christmas to you and godspeed

Sad and depressed. I’m still employed but have little faith in this company’s future. I think they are chasing pipe dreams of being the king of wealth management while having little to no clue as to what this really entails. It takes 75 meetings to make a single decision and still we arrive at a subpar answer, especially wrt technology.
I will forever question why they didn’t first ask for voluntary early retirement. I would have raised my hand. But no. They just indiscriminately cut people without regard for their personal situations.
59PL here.. LAID off.
My MD boss (60PL) and his peer, another MD gone.
1/2 the depts management team along w/ a 59IC gone!

Same. Had a team of 4. down to 2. Going to be a rough couple of months without the folks we lost and these were very knowledgable and valuable employees. Sigh.
Same sentiment here. I prayed every night to be let go this round but here I am still slaving away.
