It's not even your last day. It's your last hour. My access got revoked within an hour. I quickly sent out emails to different groups regarding the status of the applications I was supporting. Called 2 of my close team mates, sent email and posted to a handful of people on Teams. One of them was very gracious to call me back and wish me good luck. Woohoo!!! Life goes on!!!
I worked for CLST/STS and got let go. I became a fulltime in Jan 2023 after 18 months contracting since mid 2021 and now after 9 months given the axe. My contracting years were excellent but I had to become a part of Technology in order to continue as a fulltime. So many responsibilities got dumped onto me, some legit and some due to slackers sitting on work for months. I wouldn't mind getting hired back into some other group though! In general Schwab is no different than other companies. Lots of hard working people and lots of people hardly working. There is a general lack of accountability and managers don't question that.

Just learned a friend in DAI was let go. A bittersweet day for many people. Hang in there folks.

Advisor services . Saw an email from a colleague stating their last day is today . Not sure who else is there. Hope everyone who gets laid off gets to stand back soon
