Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Next

Having survived a bunch of these I can honestly say there are no survivors.

None.

Let go, retained… it does not matter.

Those who left have the stress of managing their identity, finances and career.

Those remaining have the stress of lost friends, changes and changes. And changes. A reorg and new CEO are only part of it. More work. And we have a lot of make up work for the coming years.

At least there’s another layoff next year. {shrug shoulders}

I guess at the end of the day it incentivizes you to be a brainless drone and tune out at this place for the next few months till you can land a job elsewhere. Schwab 100% doesn't value your livelihood so why should you do anything other than skate by? Some of the highest-performing associates I've ever known got the axe today it's a total waste of time to even bother at this place.

Already feeling the heat . I am continuing to look for a job outside . Not that it’s all rosy red out . But Schwab feels like a boiler waiting to explode . Too many org changes . All for nothing .
