Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Anybody ever try to neogitate more severance?

If so, how did it go.

You're not in a position to negotiate, you have no leverage or bargaining power. The severance package isnt new and has been ironed out (bonus, annual, awards such as restricted stock/options are already baked in), schwab would actual open itself up to more action by changing terms for specific people.

yeah, I don’t plan to negotiate. The severance is actually very generous. I think it’s the ONE thing Schwab has gotten right in all of this. i’m grateful for the money and will take time off

Not at this job but at a previous one. Didn't work and probably wouldn't recommend unless they were seriously shafting you on severance. From all I've heard they've been pretty generous.
