Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

All clear. Layoffs are complete.

The all clear email came out. It's over. Massive reorg is next. We'll likely hear about Walt stepping down soon as well, with Rick being named his replacement.

The 60 day on payroll isn't for your benefit, please don't drink that Kool-Aid. The 60 day paying you is so they don't have to report the layoff's to the government so they can still get their tax breaks/incentives

Walt will retire - his tenure is up in 2024 - this was on on About Schwab on the website Mr. Bettinger joined the company in 1995 as part of the acquisition of The Hampton Company, which he founded in 1983. Mr. Bettinger’s term expires in 2024.

I'm just numb. I don't know about others. I survived, but there was so much loss around me and above me. I'm not sure how everything will fit together and where I'll be reporting up into.

Worst day for me at Schwab.

My prayers to all those impacted and who were separated from Schwab today. I know your feelings must be 10x worse at least.
