Whatever happens this week or later, it is going to be what it is. It is going to su-k on many levels. Even for those who don’t get laid off. So like others have said, we can choose to stay positive and move forward, whatever that means for each of us. I know that I have a number of wonderful colleagues who are part of my support system and I am part of theirs. The recent actions of the EC don’t change that. I am going to focus on that and just do the best I can.
It is perfectly valid to be frustrated and upset. All I’m saying is, we can try not to give some random people that much power over our happiness.
