I recently joined Schwab a year back and thought very highly of the firm, but the way it is handling the layoffs plus the mangers that I worked with, I don’t think it is a great firm anymore. There is som many hierarchy here and sometimes I feel like those managing me does not know sh-t. lol it’s banking. They don’t care one bit about you or anyone else there; they care about their bottom line. You’re just a cog in their profit generating machine, unfortunately. The sooner you realize and accept this, the sooner you can treat any job as a business transaction (just like they view you) and do what’s best for you.
