Truth is, there is no plan

Are the Elliot/Apollo/Bain board filled with all stupid people?? How can they go forward with the merger knowing very well that SK Hynix and China would never agree to this..? Why would they invest billions as told in multiple news outlets on Flash side to help with the merge?
Either they are all fu--ing stupid or there is another contingency plan with Flash side of WD.

SK was a known issue from the very beginning. They have an interest in seeing Kioxa do well but have a much stronger interest in not helping to create a stronger competitor. This should have been vetted out at the earliest point of discussions. The total incompetence on display is epic in all the wrong ways. How to destroy a company while being greatly overpaid.
The board and execs all need to go.

The worst CEO in the country + its Cisco staff believed they could run a semiconductor company ! DG pocketed over $30M . Now the company is ruined.

I pray for all who are employed at WD!!
I have a lot of close friends and coworkers working and my hope is that WD can and will find a way to change the direction they are heading in and that time will be on their side to do just that.

You have your goals and rewards, they have theirs. Dont worry about executives: they'll be fine. I hope you have a backup plan.

As long as Kioxia paid wd first and settle the dispute later with Bain/SK then no issue. Will they do that ? Not sure.
