People with grit and wisdom will take a stand for themselves like the UAW employees are currently doing. Nonunion may just wilt away. UAW is rewarded for efforts .......others receive nothing. Free choice.

arlington is a big loss. hopes for a good fair contract get better each day. the union folks are standing up for what is right and their strength in numbers is superior. soon they will all be back to work with mission accomplished. sad big box store workers do not learn from uaw and unionize, they miss out on thousands of dollars pay and benefits by laying around dormat and allowing companies to rob their future.

I am the Long Post Guy. I stopped posting here a while ago.
There are lots of things I would like to write about, like the auto loan default rate, the reverse repo market decline affecting banker's ability to lend and more but I know it won't be appreciated.
I just dropped in to say that the salty UAW member post below definitely wasn't me.
It might just be Shen Yang pulling our legs. ;)
"Do not cry when this happen!" LMAO

It's not really a UAW person. It's Long Post Guy being sarcastic.

"Take the money from these WFH freeloaders (who actually REFUSE to come into the office) and re-distribute it to us workers who actually show up every single day working to make GM profitable."

The UAW aren't sending their best.
You won't get any support from anyone with that kind of rhetoric.
It's childish and TBH pathetic.

Yes. Give all those profits to the Workers!!!!

Eat the rich!!!

Show the executives and people on wall street -- we want our share!!!!

Pony up GM - minimum 40% pay increase; COLA resumed; pensions resumed; improved health care benefits; more vacation pay; 36 hour workweek; and more!!!!

Not only your profits to share, but GM can allocate some of the expenses of the so-called WFH people in the salaried ranks. We are at work on the assembly lines every single day. They are at Home Depot, Target, doing exercise classes, watching their kids, etc. all the time whining for over 3 years now that they are working harder than they ever have in their lives. Take the money from these WFH freeloaders (who actually REFUSE to come into the office) and re-distribute it to us workers who actually show up every single day working to make GM profitable. It has been 3 years since Covid and they are still not working - we union people worked during the pandemic to keep this company profitable. The salaried people WFH are just stealing from the company now! Give that money to us! Make it fair GM! We are here everyday for the company.

Do your d-a-m-n job Mary and other executives. If the salaried workers continue to REFUSE to come into the office and do their jobs. FIRE them! Transfer their work to LCC's where people will GLADLY actually show up in the office to work for a lot less money to be part of the GM team; not just sit at home complaining about union workers not deserving their wages and benefits all the while they are playing with their kids and watching TV (while working - wink, wink).

This might break the run of record profits they keep announcing every quarter.
