I currently support large GSI partners. Offer is essentially a field SE job. Expectations are to show up at an office if one is within 50 miles. Pay is essentially the same. No idea who customer(s) are.

I believe it says “may be required to work onsite”, correct? That leaves it nebulous, and I assume managers will work to make acceptable agreements. (I am not going to an office every day that’s for sure).
Also, it seems many of the partner roles say “end user SE”. I actually don’t take that as customer facing. I will still be on a partner team according to all I have heard for the future. It must just be how BC calls it.
