Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

r/NCRVoyix

I think we will see a mass migration of Jobs after the first of the year. The Employees are angry at the split, the new schedules, and the general state of the company I believe many are applying and waiting for the right time to jump ship. I expect a 5 to 20% turnover in January and February. That will put pressure on the ones that try to ride it out and will cause more to abandon the sinking ship quickly.

What a joke!! NCR splits into two
Separate companies, however, I am doing financial reports for both companies. Yep both companies, but I am assigned to NCRVoyix. Is this legal? Now they have me training Serbia. Yep my job will be gone soon. Anyone else doing double the work….. same job just doing it twice, one for each company. They did not increase my pay. You can bet I am looking for a new job before they downsize me. No one is safe from this dishonest sh-t show!!!!

Yes, Voyix is in uncertain territory right now. Even management is not aware of the future. Keep your pencils sharpened.

There are about 5 retail accounts up for renewal including Walmart and Sams Club. This was mentioned to my team about adjustments if we lose any of these retail accounts. I believe Starbucks is also up for renewal and Macys

The sr people with 20 or more years will be targeted, if you’re close to retirement you’re in the perfect position to get severance and unemployment later. Consider it as a gift. If you’re not ready to retire you should have already been gone. The road ahead if you continue probably won’t be good, bad schedules, bad benefits, bad management, and bad compensation.

"the right time to jump ship" that time was a few years ago, maybe a decade ago. When the company took away the benefit to buy a weeks vacation which was the last good perk, that's when I knew it was over. At this point I stopped feeling sorry for the techs that decided to stay, you all get what you deserve. Enjoy the unemployment line and competition with all the others applying for jobs elsewhere, you had your chance to but ignored the writing on the wall.

Sizeable accounts are subjected to renewal in 2024. For CEs, any lost will simply mean headcount adjustment.
