Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Is there any way to reduce your chances of being laid off?

Other than brown-nosing, that is.

Oh there is a very easy way to completely eliminate any chance you get laid off. It is not that complicated either. Very surprising more people here don't know about this tactic. I know people that have successfully used this in other companies. There is no reason to believe it won't work here as well. Hopefully some of you know how to do this and are already working on it!

if the rumor of an outside agency is true, the list is done, they likely used objective data and left out anything subjective which removes the human factor, which, is likely what you could influence at this point... short answer, no, nothing you can do.

You can not just reduce your chances of layoff, but completely eliminate it.

Make sure you are positive on the surveys. If it's a low score we need to raise it somewhere.

Never ask a question. Never give any sort of feedback. Just shut up and keep your head down.

I want to increase my chances to be ON that list.

I’m ready to quit now, but not leaving money on the table if I don’t have to.

From what others have said, the lists have already been finalized. At this point we just sit and wait. 😢
