COBRA deadline?

Hello all! Does anyone know the deadline for deciding on COBRA and when our existing benefits expire?

COBRA is extraordinarily expensive...you will be able to enroll in Obamacare in a matter of days, Nov. 1.
You could apply for 2023 benefits which would probably begin in December based on a "major life change". Thereafter you could continue with it for as long as you wish.

You can shop for a huge variety of plans and prices on HealthCare.gov.

Good luck...stay safe and healthy too!

COBRA is a program that allows former employees of a company to continue all or part their elected benefits upon separation from a company. You will receive a letter after your employment end date stating the date by which you must enroll to keep your coverage. You will be responsible for paying 100% of your premium, plus a 2% maintenance fee. Your HR should be able to answer all your questions. Alternately, you can do an online search that states how the program is governed.
