Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Mullet poetry

In the corporate world, a CEO did reign,
With a mullet that caused quite the disdain.
He led a company, once strong and true,
But his decisions, oh, how they would undo.

With each choice he made, the profits did fall,
And the shareholders’ trust, he did appall.
But he cared not for the company’s fate,
For he had a plan, a golden parachute.

He schemed in secret, while the ship sank low,

His mullet glistened in the setting sun,
As he boarded a plane, his reign was done.
A CEO with dreams of greed and loot,
Took flight with his ill-gotten golden parachute.

The employees left behind, they sighed,
For a leader’s greed had stolen their pride.
But they’d rebuild and rise above the fall,
A lesson learned, to stand strong, after all.

Funny poetry, but nothing really funny about people losing their jobs. The grinch comes every holiday season, and their job is gone, no loyalty to long term employees and their job is outsourced for cheaper labor or sent to a cheaper contracting company.
