Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Isn’t anyone watching the Astros?

I was sooo disappointed watching the Astros and seeing the OXY patch on their arm instead of ExxonMobil! All my friends have been asking me what is wrong with the company I work for when a much smaller company can have their name on Astros uniforms instead of ExxonMobil. Thought we were better than that.

DW, if it’s about the money, I’d be willing to sacrifice as many boomers as necessary to get our name on Astros uniforms. This is why people are quitting, no pride in the company, not enough Pride in June either.

Stupid post. People aren’t going to buy our products because of a patch on a baseball team. Racing partnerships make sense for influencing consumer behaviour but I’m with the corp on this. No need. Tell your friends to drink less beer.

We've been ba----g them a very long time and they are really enjoying it a lot.

Just think if our poster boy from LaQuinta had done his ba----g in India, he could have got a lot more bang for his buck and we would have saved a lot of bad pubElicity!

Am I the only one who has worked in research for all 3 companies? 3 years at OXY, 11 years at MOB, and 22 years at XOM. Mobil was the best.
