Lots of tense faces in the management team. Does anyone know what's going on?

Centene lays off the people that make too much money. If the new CIO is of the same ideology, the many layers of people leaders in RGA IT should already have their resumes updated and a job search net that is nationwide.
As for Centene culture, at least it’s not the Monsanto culture that RGA has been dominated by for so many years.
The new CIO is from Centene. Are you aware of what's been going on at Centene?
The problem with this area of the company is that IT leadership has been a bunch of empire builders for years. They soak up all the salary budget into middle management leaving very little money to hire enough people to do the work that needs to get done. It’s not that the people doing the work are incompetent, it’s that there are not enough of them. Had the organization been heavier on workers and lighter on management jobs, this probably wouldn’t have happened. Hoping the new CIO sorts this out, although I doubt St. Louis can absorb that many EVPs, VPs, Assistant VPs, and Senior Directors.
More than just cyber folks. I think there will be some architecture and infrastructure people kicked off the island along with their leadership. Stupid situation all the way around that was easily prevented if people would’ve just done their jobs.
I predict several cyber security folks will be looking for new jobs soon.
Something about having to do some major rebuilds in a short amount of time. No idea what the cause is though.
Any update on this?
