So after almost 11 years at AIG, I am put on a PIP plan after "returning" to work however still working from home. I worked from Home for aprox 4 years, I am terrified due to my injury to my leg and still healing having to walk all over in the office and falling in the winter months going in (WI snow and ice). My ACL and knee still swells so icing and elevating is necessary and I can't do that in the office.
I had to file a ADA claim last week to keep working from home however, not sure if that will go through. I was just put on a Performance Evaluation thou today. I think they are trying to wrongfully terminate me because I am not coming in the office due to my surgery and medical.
Anyone at AIG ever survive a PIP? Shall I retain an employment lawyer now or afterwards.
