IBM to close sprawling Southbury corporate campus next month

Officials at technology giant IBM are closing their long-time office complex on Kettletown Road in Southbury, a spokesman has confirmed.

IBM's Southbury office at 150 Kettletown Road will close on Jan. 26, Chris Mumma, a company spokesman said Thursday in a written statement. Mumma said the company will not be laying off any employees. There will not be any jobs eliminated as a result of the closing, according to Mumma.

Another article reporting the same but also noting that the employees may be relocated to Poughkeepsie, Armonk, or may be allowed to telecommute, depending on their roles.
