Please for the love of all things holy, stop this moving to Houston train wreck. Just let us all work from home since our offices are closing. I doubt it saves any of us, especially if any of us have turned our letters in, but I honestly would like to keep my job. I had dreams of retiring at Crown and was so happy when I landed here 10 years ago. JB is out. Let’s not continue with his antics like they were actually saving us money.

Elliott does not care about the grievances of the employees. They care about the stock price/dividend and they want board seats. Then you will see further RIFs and consolidation of offices. They are not the saviors many on this site are making them out to be...
Elliot hasn’t said anything about everyone needing to move to Houston. Their required changes were 1. Jay gone. 2. Board gone. 3. Shady bylaws gone. 4. Fiber gone.
But it doesn’t. And shouldn’t. Bragging in a company conversation about how many internal roles were filled last year but in the same breath you’re telling those same people you have to move for no extra wages somewhere that is likely 2 or more times someone’s current cost of living, possibly tripling their mortgage rate, while having to spend even more money on an outside agency to help fill those roles or lose a job you never wanted to leave. While also closing offices and breaking leases to only turn right around and buy or lease more property to house everyone because when we spent $55mil the plan was never to have half the company in Houston. When really you could cut all these expenses until we are actually in a little bit better place financially to go through with this.
Sorry! All paths now lead to Houston. Make the move or resign. Elliott will not stand for anything less. Fiber and SCN get ready! You are next!!
