Let me guess.... a bunch of Portfolio I pension/ over 50s were targeted?
Are they reducing the regional roles?
As my first manager said to me, do not waste your loyalty on 3M, it will not be reciprocated.
They said “less than 25 people” and “no functional employees” which I guess means only managers/leadership? I found it a hilarious way to word it. (Only the dysfunctional ones?)
Just remember, 3M does not give a toss about you. This is the new company that the Executive Committee. You have no friends. The VPs would back their cars over you than give you loyalty. This is a death spiral.
About time - too fat and happy. All those mobot directors/VPs who benefited have retired and left the rest to get laid off. Time to wake up you’ve been used
