Thread regarding SAS Institute layoffs

Let's Get Ready To Stumble!

This is the time of year when leaders and managers quietly fall off the org chart, only to have their separation announced in January. We also have possible layoffs looming. So, tis' the season. What are you hearing/seeing?
Don't waste time with obscure nicknames. Use the organization and job title. And go!

Took a tour of the NC State campus the other day. The names on the buildings seemed to match the last names of the "chosen" few at SAS. It was very depressing.

It will never happen. Birds of a feather and all that.

"...Well Jim, we have some deals we expected to close by the end of the year that didn't. But we have a strong pipeline as we expect to finalize those deals early in the new year..."

You're too early for the schadenfreude. The fumble doesn't start until after January. SAS still needs to calculate 2023 year-end revenue and that won't happen until January 2024 and all the numbers tally then.

Let them eat cake and have a happy holiday first.
