I’ve been applying since RTO was announced and just got a role that pays 25% more, is remote and in fintech having a huge added RSU component that I’m not even counting right now. I immediately booked a long trip to a tropical island because I can afford it now. I’m at least getting my full severance and am technically bonus eligible because I was laid off a month ago. There are opportunities out there, people! Contact every single recruiter and hiring manager you know for a referral! Good luck and I hope your holiday season takes a similar turn as mine did!!

Congratulations OP! Happy holidays and best of wishes for a prosperous coming year.
@6icd+1pXAbxEb that's the right way to do it. Cheers
Just returning from 10 days Hawaii vacation after scoring 2 jobs. Life is awesome in notice period
What firms did you use, and who ultimately came through?
I’m all about short term disability, 60 days of pay and then severance and then unemployment insurance. also get the bonus. Life is awesome!
OP here, LOL to the Les Schwab comments and thanks for the congrats!! I’m just trying to focus on the best here and it’s a lot easier with another, better opportunity in hand! But yes, I do not have very positive feelings for Schwab, particularly the EC and unless I have no other choice, will never consider working there again. My time, effort and the exceeds expectations ratings at year end seem to amount to very little. To be fair, I got close to or even above 100% of my bonus during my time at the firm. So at least the numbers aligned with my performance. But the EC seems intent on not encouraging that performance.
CONGRATULATIONS!! 🎉🎈🎊
