No program is ever nonproductive in resideo. That would mean directors and above would be a bunch of failures! That never ever happens in resideo. The problems are the foot soldiers and managers.

It was interesting that the brand ambassadors were listed in PT's announcement as one of his accomplishments. There weren't many successes in his short time and the brand ambassadors are probably one of the reasons that he was replaced because it was a big investment and I'm pretty sure that they haven't sold anything. I'm sure that PT will be just fine, but I bet his replacement is going to look at anything that his fingerprints are on and go through it in depth to eliminate any unproductive programs or people.

I doubt that there will be lots of layoffs… meanwhile while he trains he gets the continuous use of the jet…
I am sure the next superman has the solution to everything resideo somewhere in some PowerPoint … they all did and they all will!

Is anybody really surprised at this? PT has been in survival mode for the past couple qtr - throwing sh😂t at a wall to see what sticks. It warms my heart to see JG create a vague role for him to do for 6 months whilst he trains for another iron man competition.

Time to sit back, get the popcorn and watch the civil war start. There are already hardware leaders blaming pt, each other, pm ghosts, oem, sourcing. Infact anybody but themselves.

The problem with change is that people forget a corp does function like an army in one sense. The general/EVP can say something but the soldier know and follow the lead of the Sergent/lieutenant/directors over the squad. A good squad culture will make the teams work wonders.
The problem we have had is always the same … no matter what changing the general doesn’t work because the lower rank continue their own culture… we need to change those directors for true positive change to . That’s the only thing we haven’t changed, the rest of the above those directors kept changing and nothing worked. We just keep doing the same insane thing over and over again

Curious to hear about PT replacement, as there is almost nobody inside REZI.. Probably an outsider that will need to replace all his former staff... Might be better in the future, but there will be deep waves during a significant period.
