Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Will ICG risk be affected?

What positions, countries/locations, levels (C10-15)? Any insights?

The white collar criminals who have been with the bank for decades will stay. It will only get worse.

As someone else here mentioned, the expensive locations will get hit first. Luckily for the original poster, Poland and Tampa are not expensive relative to other locations. But that does Not mean Poland and Tampa will not get hit with layoffs. These 2 locations do not readily stick out like a sore thumb. MDs and Ds have been told to look at their teams regardless of location.

Cuts will start from the expensive locations, but Poland and Tampa will be next - if senior people are not being laid off (we see only shuffling), than a lot of low-level/cheap locations employees will have to go to achieve the cuts.

Yes, I already saw people (ED and MD level) in London Market and Credit Risk gone after last week's changes. All levels and regions will be affected.
