Yes, SVPS may have gotten o where they are since they are old. Question becomes will we have jobs for the next few months?
It is hard to belittle underlings in email chains. It is hard to get your team to deliver so you get a good bonus. It is hard to tell SME's of lines of businesses outside of your own how to do their job better. Stop judging them!
Being a SVP to whatever does not make you superior than anyone, maybe you just get old enough to be there. Wake up, you are big part of causing all these problems we have today.

If you truly are above those two titles above, then maybe if you worked hard Citi stock wouldn’t be at the loss that it is in comparison to the competition. You are the decision maker echelon, right? Well congratulations on leading into this downward spiral. Well done sir, well done.
If you really worked hard, you would have been an SVP or Director or MD. Or if you understood what they do, you would have been there. So, please worry about yourself. BTW I am above both those titles.
