GM is an absolutely terrible place to work at. It is a real shame for the talented smart people to work there. They would be way better off to work at another company that appreciates them rather than scare them every few months with layoffs. I used to think highly of GM but these days I couldn't care less for them. I would prefer to buy a foreign car rather than anything GM makes even if cheaper. I don't want to support their tyrannical agendas to prevent people from driving by pushing their AV agenda and making vehicles super expensive especially when EVs become the norm.. then good luck finding anything less than $100k. A basic car shouldn't cost more than $10k

Back in July, GM announced an additional $1B in cost cutting. So the $2B was increased.
