14 year veteran, something very strange going on within this company, they gave multiple people the option to take a forced layoff and receive 40 hours pay for 3 weeks, or take unemployment with them paying your benefits until week 1 2024 or if your lucky enough to have years under your belt bump someone else for a position that’s open and not taking layoff on ….trying to make quarterly earnings look good after coke presented their great earnings is only thing I can think of

Retired Executive—Frito lay remains top heavy, especially in marketing and fluffy departments—always overlooked—management takes care of management (bonuses) and most cuts are in benefits towards front line employees and retirements; the price increases the past 24 months will be a huge challenge to keep profits as consumers realize smaller sizes in addition to huge increases — it’s got to be a discussion in the board rooms daily
