Relax people it's all to eliminate the layers of decision making... even though that was done back in 2018 when they got rid of area and all foreman, fg1l2 and fg1 leaving only managers. Plus since contractors don't count its proba ly a way for them to cheat to world class safety...

Then what will Givens do for a job after he eliminates the department he's in charge of? The title also said Givens to eliminate mechanical, but your post said Vena is the one reaching out to potential contractors. So who's eliminating what? Is it Vena or Givens? To eliminate an entire department would have to be voted on from the board. It's not a decision that Vena or Givens can make unilaterally. A vote like that would have to be brought up by the chairman of the board. Vena is not the chairman of the board. Vena answers to the chairman of the board, and Givens answers to Vena. If you're going to post BS, at least try to make it somewhat believable. Take your fear mongering somewhere else HQ guy.
