It's Thanksgiving and this is the first site I checked after waking up. That's not okay.

Veritas has always intended to sell Gainwell. The only surprise is that it hasn’t happened yet.
Business theory has taught us that when the cost of an acquisition is high that the layoffs are also high. The reason for this is that the firm that is making the purchase attempts to recoup the cost of the purchase through layoffs. However they lose valuable human capital when they do this. This obviously leads to poor performance by the company.
Gainwell is suffering from this fate. It has since become cyclical each year in an attempt to right the ship. The problem is that they have performed so poorly that the cost hasn’t been recouped. They borrowed investment dollars and have now spent those investment monies. They have reached the point of no return.
The only options they have are - downsizing, bankruptcy, or a sale.
This theory has played out thousands of times throughout history with big business. If Gainwell were to realize this path they may be able to attempt to control their destiny. However it appears they are attempting to resist this path playing out. When this happens theory tells us that bankruptcy or a sale will happen. Sometimes it can be both.
So saddle up the ride is going to get bumpy.
No one got fired today! Calls for a celebration!
Solid reasons to leave. Why stay and have this worry every day?
This company is destroying our mental health like this.
