Has no end at 3M. Seems they're finding any excuse to cover up their sh-t and get rid of more people at plants. Ethical is laughable at this corrupt, disgusting company. I'd be ashamed to sleep at night.

Sadly, I feel retaliation at 3M is real. I am scared to say more.
Never report anything internal to 3M. NEVER. 3M's hr, ethics hotline, eap, and our leaders are all broken. If you report something inside of 3M, there will be a cover up, huge efforts to identify why the corporation is not liable . . . anything to make the issue go away, other than addressing the original issue. Memories are long and leaders are patient - once you report, there will be pay back.
The solution is to report 3M to a newspaper, magazine, or broadcast tip lines. The other option is to call a litigation attorney. The other option is to whistle blow to the appropriate government agency such as EEOC, EPA, FDA, DOJ, OSHA, DOD, etc.
Almost every media outlet has a tip line. Just Google their site for "tips", "whistle blower", or "story idea". Identify the email, contact info, or anonymous reporting utility. You can also contact editors or authors within media directly. They are always looking for new ideas. You can email your information, send it via parcel post, use anonymous service or call them. The more details, documents, and contacts you send, the better chance of the story being published. Here's a short list for media:

Reported my supervisor for bullying. According to HR it didn’t meet the thresh hold of bullying. Within 6 months of me reporting my supervisor, I was written up for things that were either done with management approval for months and was never told it was a problem or that I had documentation to prove it was false. Didn’t matter to HR, still got written up for it. Clearly was retaliation for reporting my supervisor to begin with. HR will always protect management
