Sell off Audio Buisness

I heard from my manager that there is a possibility that the new owner consider selling off the audio business in 2024. Not having any place in the company's defined strategy is a good case in point. Has anyone heard anything?

re: Please tell us what is the “defined strategy” that Nielsen is following, please.

As the company slowly goes out of business, the owner's strategy is to make as much money during the decline as possible. IPO the remnants to public shareholders. After IPO there will be a last effort of profit extraction before the company goes under and the retail shareholder will be left holding the bag.

Employees and services get sacrificed to the god of profits.

Would be interesting how that’d work since TV started utilizing CBET codes.

It wouldn’t be surprising though…decent revenue for a smaller BU.
