Melvin is cutting everyone. During covid people accepted that there would be no help and wait in line for a hour. They are not putting up with it now, they are shopping elsewhere.

It’s already like this at a lot of other retailers, like Tractor Supply, Rose’s, etc. Pretty soon you will have to be willing to accept a management position if you want full time with benefits. It’s coming.
Melvin says my job is safe
Company is going to have a universal sales specialist role from what I hear. Whether that full time or part time remains to be seen. A vendor said they aren’t going to have department specific sales specialists any longer. As far as company sales, yes they were down last quarter but profit was up. They will keep cutting hours to keep up the profits.
Hey folks in North Carolina. Your local community colleges have courses for roles in BioTech. You could work in a BioTech Manufacturing role and probably get a better deal than Lowes is offering.
Oh well. With Melvin running the place, Lowes has a grim future for employees, it has ever since he took over. Steady downward spiral. Before Melvin, it was a really good place to work.
Saw today that sales for this year's 3rd Quarter were 13% down from past year.
I expect cuts.
Unemployment here I come. Time to use up my sick days.
