Are these new rounds of layoffs or are people just repeating what was announced a month ago?
CDAO is laying off 70, unless they find another role.

The 'find internal jobs or be let go' thing happened back in March, unless it's happening again. It wouldn't surprise me since they love to fire people before Christmas to clear them off the books.

This idea that people will find a job they are qualified for within a matter of days, apply, get called for an interview and get hired is epically ludicrous. They can't even admit they are purging people. They cut people to save money... It continues to amaze me that they think we are that d-mb.
There's definitely bad energy in the air. I think everyone can feel it, especially when we are at the office. I have seen several downturns in this business over the years. This bad energy is just the start. The pettiness and finger-pointing as they cancel projects is next.
