About 50. I'm blocked so if this gets to you..
Fu-k WD. Knock it off and move on. Darren ..fu-k him. Fu-k you! And you know who i am. You're not smart. Definitely not smarter than me. I know he's no genius. Didn't like it.
I was layed off maybe...5 years ago? Like many in my team, we were kept on staff for a few months to clean things up. So even before my last day, I had a new job. I'm still there. Making almost 2X now from when I left. But I still have folks I keep in touch with that are still trying to make a good product. They care. So it saddens me thinking of all the people I interacted with over the years I was there that are no longer employed. As I get closer to an actual retirement, the new grads coming out looking for work...do your research for who you want to have a career with.
Hopefully happy holidays to all.
The experience package. Did you enjoy the ride?
What "Package" do the people laid off in Bangalore, India have got?
@1wll+1pCZMBpe
More than 100 in California Flash org alone
From CIO to VP, they are inept and lack confidence. The CIO's first action was to install Pager Duty on IT, a product from a previous company he departed from. Concerning conflicts of interest. His entire vice president selection is a farce; they can't even deliver a basic presentation well. Anyone still left in IT should update their resume and dull skill set ASAP. The question is if but when they showing you the door next.
At least 30 in MN
unlikely to be the last one before a split is complete, so don’t relax but enjoy the holidays with family & friends
I heard is was 100 across US.
@OP+1pCZMBpe unless the WARN Act was triggered, it's unlikely #s will be known
Happy Holidays!
Was there any layoffs in the HDD org? Does someone know what % and which departments were targeted?
