This is not a sign of a heathy company. Buying back stock, and executive bonuses instead of donating monies already promised, to a children’s hospital with Mattel’s name on it!
UCLA will win, and Mattel will pay for it by laying off some more workers. Watch and see…

It is counterintuitive to give money to a hospital for sick kids when your products are causing their deaths. At least Mattel is picking a side.

A prudent decision by the powers that be! Mattel invests in its consumers; the ROI on terminally ill kids doesn’t fit with Mattel’s “Strategy for Growth”.
