This is not a sign of a heathy company. Buying back stock, and executive bonuses instead of donating monies already promised, to a children’s hospital with Mattel’s name on it!
UCLA will win, and Mattel will pay for it by laying off some more workers. Watch and see…
Maybe they can donate some little Monster High coffins for the dying kids.
It is counterintuitive to give money to a hospital for sick kids when your products are causing their deaths. At least Mattel is picking a side.
Mattel is an IP-DRIVEN toy company, not an IV-DRIVEN one, right Ynot?
Mattel stiffing UCLA Children’s Hospital for pledged money for children’s life saving care, and getting sued by the Board of Regents, nice job Executive Management .
It's all about the PR moment. After that. Who cares. Do it for the Lolz.
A prudent decision by the powers that be! Mattel invests in its consumers; the ROI on terminally ill kids doesn’t fit with Mattel’s “Strategy for Growth”.
Really, Mattel? Really? Wow. Just WOW.
Low ethics execs, that's it.
