RTO Layoffs

Anyone have any information on if those who did not follow the RTO mandate will be laid off, and if so when this will happen?

I heard that RTO will be fully enforced in 2024. The goal is obviously to get rid of the people who do not comply. Heads up!

Is someone keeping track? Most definitively yes. Are they doing anything so far? No.

IBM has been a pioneer and world leader in remote work for decades. The company's IT infrastructure, telecom and real estate investments have all been made over the years with a remote working environment in mind. The employees aren't going to RTO just because a few corporate executives wish it to happen. It took decades to send the employees home, and it will take decades to bring them back. Good luck with that.

Despite constant reminders from management that 3/4 employees should be in office, not seeing it. Bare minimum conditions in office as it is.

It seems everyone is ignoring the mandate, including the managers. The parking lots are empty. No need to work from an office anymore, that is why mobile technology was developed.
