So, as I’m sure we’ve all heard, there IS a major restructure coming that’s more than just a “mega market”. No one seems to know anything and the only thing our boss will say is, “buckle up because it’s coming”. Market director is in TX this week for “training” and they had new cameras installed around our building that somehow aren’t connected to the rest of the security system. Come to find out, they’re directly hooked up to the new market directors office. Conveniently these cameras were installed in the office and multipurpose room and from what the talk is, several managers and admins have been talked to due to low productivity while there and being on their phones too much. Maybe these 2 don’t correlate but I feel like we’re all being watched and this may determine which of us will be handed a letter soon. Thoughts?

We know layoffs/reassignments are coming. All you can do is prepare. Tighten up your resume. Decide now if you’re willing to take a new job, work in the office or move. If you decline, you might not get severence. Your bosses already know who’s been submitted. If they say otherwise, they are lying. Start exploring options outside Pepsi. And if you don’t already, save money. Holiday layoffs stink but it’s how the company does it.
Look for Pepsi to go to 3 divisions. West central & east.

Texas is AOP…..happens every year. All MDs, UMs, zone directors are there. Cameras are in every building and managed locally. Still restructure or “pivot” as Ramon calls it is looming
The cameras cannot be on the network for fear of hacking the server. All cameras at Pepsi are on separate WIFI just fyi
