Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Disappearing threads

Looks like the post about Crown being sold disappeared. The EMT get sensitive about somebody dropping the dime in their scheme?

@3lyk+1p7BvpD9 Correct, but CC wants growth and Towers is finite. Sure the rent is good, but you said it. The cash cow can only give so much when the cash flow is being mismanaged. Plus the growth that is coming down the pipe from Fiber/Enterprise and SC is more than Towers ability. CC is done with being just a Towers company.

Towers are extremely extremely high margin and the majority of the cash. The problem is/was an constantly growing employee base. 2 or 3 x as many employees needed in the office . it just stands there and makes money. Which was the problem. Million dollar annual events, weekly department events, constantly creating new positions, crazy salaries (for the chosen). I watched people watch TV all day, sleep, bs, spend hours on their gambling and calling their bookies, running their side hustles, studying. Total joke. 15% of the people doing 85% of the work.

Tower is extremely profitable (rent). Its been abused for years

So are they leaving the Pittsburgh market entirely? Or will Canonsburg remain the central region hub?

The ghost of Bob Crown, this time around. We all knew national positions were being relocated. Word is they are still cleaning house which will result in more heads rolling.

Because most of the positions in Canonsburg office are national, they will be centralized to the Houston area. We have already announced the closure of the Fountainhead and Summit buildings. The two remaining buildings, 1500 and 2000, will also be closed in August 2024.

Even more people have to move to Houston, that's news. Are they completely leaving Pennsylvania?

I think it is funny the infighting. Like you id--ts are arguing over what sank the titanic. Guess what it does not *%#£ing matter it still sunk. The managers at Clown Knot are toxic, yep everyone of them. They are either directly responsible or complicit in all that is wrong with the shot hole. Have fun you bag of di-ks!

Yep former employee, all you genius’s guessed that right, now fu-k off

@ @1zth+1p7BvpD9 They didn't fire "Tower Folk" you truck driver, they laid off the REAL ESTATE team, which was the literal backbone of our REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST.

Crown isn’t stupid enough to sell towers off. Crown can’t survive on the fiber business alone. The margins aren’t high enough to make it a viable business. That’s like saying AT&T and Verizon keep their fiber and sell off the mobile business to DISH or TMO. It’s laughable.

Towers of Incompetence, agreed! The Towers folk can’t see the forest for the trees. Why do you think Crown is refocusing. It’s just not about Towers anymore. The rapid system has been improved on because it’s key for the direction CC is heading. Towers folk just want to continue being an over glorified Wireless Access Point.

@1zax+1p7BvpD9 Usually when a company sells, they offload the overhead to make it look profitable. That being said, I think we know what 2 entities that would be. One rhymes with Power and the other one’s initials are SC.

Rumors don’t qualify as confidential information. And that’s all that thread was. There is no truth to it.

The rules are in a link at the bottom of every page.

"is personal and confidential information"

A lot of things fall under confidential information.

I know for a fact that it is true. I also know the top 2 entities we are trying to sell to but will not name them on this forum. Just wait…

So based on the rules, the post about selling violated none of them. Hmmm

Site mods remove troll posts on a regular basis, here is what they delete
——————————————————————-
The actual (TLDR) content rules are in the footer of the page, but here is the summary of kind of posts that site mods delete:

  • foul language and insults
  • personal info of employees or mgrs (c-level's ok as they are public figures)
  • threats
  • trolling
  • spamming (or tons of posts with the similar text)
  • impersonating
  • off-topic posts about politics, religion or race/nationality/ethnicity

direct advertising
that bullet number two is what gets most people in trouble, you start talking names here and they will nuke that post in no time

(Not my post, it's a copy-paste from another forum board here, but I think is accurate)

The IP can’t delete threads and I can’t think of what rule was broken. The only explanation is the EMT threatened this web site.

OP was probably more scared of insider trading. It's insane if true, towers are the only thing making money. They're gonna have Billions in cash and no assets producing revenue.
