I was hired by IBM when I was past 55. Still here! I got an offer from only one other company after 6 months of searching for employment. When I was in my 30s, I got 3 offers in less than 2 weeks of searching.
IBM likes older employees, and really all kinds of employees.

Working at IBM after reaching 50 years is very dangerous. IBM practices age discrimination like other company. IBM treats it`s older employees like disposable items.
IBM is one of the worse places to work for, if you are not white or Indian. IBM is well known for encouraging brown nosing,
That is a USA thing not particular to IBM

It's not healthy for anyone. Young people are treated with no respect here.
