Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Carl Gave X 5 Finger Dth Punch

According to legend there was a Kung Fu master named Pai Mei who would strike in such a way where your heart would be expldd but you would not be ended immediately. Once you walked a few paces you would only kick the bucket then and only then.

I was playing golf on St. John today (Tier 1 retired Sales Xeroid) and thought this - That I think Carl did this to X and it is either a few days weeks or months (paces) before C falls over flat. I think Double and Uncle Carl had a duel and DD lost to the tune of 400 mil per CNBC and counting - again look it up get the facts.... Yahoo Finance etc...

So my advice to remaining Tier III - V Xeroids:

Read the Sec filings on X that are public as they should give you proper motivation to ax the X. They read like sequel to Wall Street 2 or Margin Call take your pick.

Health Insurance - Don't believe the X - the marketplace for your state is cheaper and has better coverage. Wake up call: X self funds all the claims you will make on their insurance in 2024. You do realize asking X to pay a claim is kind a like asking for a granite bowling ball to squirt glittery fairy dust right? Those that stay check your w-2 you will be suprized to see how much X claims their self funded insurance is worth par for the course.

Those who stay get ready for more of the daily beet down - your axed peers tasks to be dumped on you - more of the same and by design no morals or ethics with these creeps....

Back Office : get ready for more sht shows when trade show Joe lyes his dupa off to make a sale and then dumps the support on you. I heard sales are now offering "dates" to get clients to sign lol again can't make this sht up if you tried....

On a parting note take as many days off as possible, do less than asked, do as little as you can because when Stevie gets you with a bot or one of his outsourcers you Will have at least a small Solace that this post gave you at least some notice to prepare.

Don't worry about C Suite they all gave guaranteed packages when this goes tiits up and it will I'll bet you 1k shares of IEP it will in 2024 prepare accordingly my fellow Xeroids in the lower Tiers

The board members that Carl put in place were slowly exiting by themselves...Without Big Daddy Carl to protect them, they knew their life expectancy was going to be a short one on the Xerox board. A cascading down hill effect was in full force. win-win!

Second off XRX did have to buy them out to get rid of the board and the other cronies.

First off Xerox did not have to buy Carl out. Carl needed the money to pay his investors that were cashing out on him and he didn't have the funds to do that. Think Ponzie scheme and that is what Carl got himself into. Actually if you read the business news Carl had many, many of his investors wanting their money. Xerox made an offer that was about half of what Carls shares were worth. Carl gets his needed funds AND Xerox made a sweet deal to exit Carl from Xerox. Kind of a win win thing but Xerox was the bigger winner. Now Carl is dealing with the SEC which has made him go "underground" It's unfortunate that Carl did so much damage to a once great company...Xerox got what they deserved!!

Leave “industry”
Use transferable skills to go into growth sectors vs death spiral (printing).
Xerox is in continued death march which is no surprise to anyone but take the appropriate steps to be ready for your next act. I left 4 years ago and never been happier. I am making significantly more in a new sector (used my transferable skills). Doing all those extra jobs at X is useful after all lol

Reading this post gives me an image of meeting this person in a dark corner of a parking garage.
Trench coat, sunglasses and smoking a cigarette.
Good post , probably all true but very watergate cryptic.

give 75% to maintain your position and invest 25% into your future post xerox. your skills are only transferrable in a dying industry. in other industries, they don't pay what you make here. cold hard fact. and xerox on a resume is not going to look good when it collapses.

Stay where you are. We don't need those responsible for the docushit controller infesting other area companies. I regret knowing that such a retched thing exists.

Get out as soon as you can! i did 10 years ago and have no regrets. The only reason that I look at this site is that I care about the folks I left behind. X and EK were great places to work in their day and unfortunately no more. Get out when you can and enjoy yourself. There is life after X!
