Take a Ford related TV break, 3am is Cannon time

Lightening up on the mood here.

Anyone watch these old reruns, on MeTV, 3am Cannon and Mannix?

Cannon famously drove Lincoln continentals, mark 3 and mark IV, with the cool little rear opera window. Those 2door versions had one heavy long door!

Mannix drove toronados and Plymouth’s.

12mpg at best.

Oh for the good old days

The Ironside van in the first few seasons was a 1940 Ford V8 1-Ton Van. They may have swapped in the V8 during the first season. It got driven off a cliff and burst into flames. I think in season 3 or 4.

Also the Continental convertible on Green Acres and various Fords on Perry Mason episodes

I always laughed , Cannon always seemed to shove his fully loaded .38 snub nose pi---l into his expandable polyester belt line of his pants. It never came loose or misfired. Must have been uncomfortable.

Barnaby Jones drove a brown 1973 Ford LTD Brougham 2 door. Made self-deprecating jokes about his age. Would still chase and catch the bad guys.

Cannon (William Conrad) needed a big Lincoln. He couldn't fit in anything smaller.

Always funny to watch Cannon run. Somehow, he would catch the bad guy. Don't forget about Ironside.
