Hey all, the 6 months don't forget you will pay 32% of that to Federal Income Tax, and COBRA is very expensive per month for a family. It is not a 6 months' vacation more like 3-4 months, start looking now and bank the money you get.
At least most LCO employees (useless) get a 6+ month paid vacation while they look for new jobs.

If you were SS sitting on your ranch and one day the phone rang and it was the PXD board begging you to return, the only thing that would make you hop out of the Pecos River and come back would be packaging it to sell to XOM for a large payout. Anything else than that, there's no point in even taking your waders off.
SS 2.0 was always about a sale. The layoffs, the flat org, the one basin. All the fat was trimmed and the change of control details in proxy statements showed the motivation. It was never about PXD’s “best resources,” it’s people. It was about big golden parachutes. Good luck to all.
At the first all employee meeting after TD left and SS said, this is not about a sale...it was at that moment that his return was about a sale...he lost way too much $$$.
Took the VSP, invested back in PXD when it hit $50 and thankful I did.
PNR is a great company, with even greater people, but there are other great companies with great teams out there too.
There’s not two bonuses, those were for two different job types. One bonus each.
In comparison to the layoff packages given in 2019/2020, those employees received 2 years’ pay (not six months). Then everyone else that stayed got to take on their jobs, then we made two large acquisitions to take on even more work over the next three years. Context matters.
So the two 250% kpi bonus’s, 1 in Nov & 1 in December you feel like are owed to you?
The minimum 6 month’s severance & more depending on time at Pioneer, plus insurance $ for 12 months, you also feel is “owed” to you?
