Recently, one of my acquaintances was laid off from work as a result of a reduction in the work force. Bright fellow. He had mentioned that the facility is likely to close in the coming year as they are moving production to Mexico. They had removed the GM and fired half of the office staff since 2022. I am wondering if anyone has similar experience with other Emerson facilities closing?

From what I heard, the place is almost dead. Most folks have been laid off, quit or retired. Get out as fast as you can.
They are most likely going to close the facility and move manufacturing to Mexico. Just look at what happened to Lexington facility.
