@3krq of course he is in the Shale business....the problem is that he drilled without a permit
Exxon (unlike Chevron) is extremely, viciously competitive. It is entirely possible he was framed, especially since it was in the news. How else do you think this leaked out so fast? Plenty of Chevron leaders have been arrested (off the job) without any news coverage.
I’d say he’s in another kind of business, not shale though.
