**** Fujitsu rumored to be eyeing NCR Voyix once NCR split is complete****

LEAKED
Fujitsu is set to be front runner in bid to take over NCR Voyix to further push to be a world leader in POS hardware and software solutions. Fujitsu hardware is already integrated in many of NCR's self checkout and retail offerings. With a market cap of 23B, Fujitsu is positioned well to take over Voyix operations internationally and leverage off of NCR's hardware service footprint and software solutions. NCR Voyix market cap after split is estimated to be 1.2B.

This is a load of cr-p. I could see a partnership maybe as NCR looks to get rid of selling hardware and focusing on services and software

Ok.. So Fujitsu exited the US POS/SCO Market years ago.. They don't even have techs in the US anymore.. Fujitsu sold the US service arm to Tech Data years ago.. Triggered a rebranding right after as Tech Data merged with Synnex.. Creating TD Synnex.. Then the service arm was rebranded as Shyft Global Services.. There is no way Fujitsu is looking to jump back in.

Where is this rumor from? I don't see anything on the internet about it.

Fujitsu has employees and uses the same contractors as NCR uses, they write better contracts that make sense using whole units shipped to the customer, never sending a tech. I could see Fujitsu using their existing techs more efficiently, and using the contractors doing exactly what they do already. The transition would take time, but sink or swim like NCR did with the Canadian Walmart SCO/ all the IBM equipment NCR has serviced for years. Retail service is becoming whole unit replacement, Unit gets shipped in next day, customer replaces the tablet and sends it back to be restaged. Lowes and Home Depot figured it out a long time ago.

yeah they could call the company DieNix@Leos.
This is a scary thought but I could definitely see that happening.

Read the NCR mission statement, stop burying your heads in the sand, NCR will become a software company, selling both service companies. They have been saying this for quite sometime, it’s all for sale, and yes they have a plan, but they will not tell you. But, be clear they are selling services/hardware.

About the pension you probably correct. I was browsing for NCR pension. Remember when Nuti was tasked to shore up the funds back in 2011. I believe the total 650 million underfunded. I did receive a buy out off but declined it. Nuti had a timeline to fix by end or 2012 apparently. But I think he’s plan was for people to take a lump sum. They are still by what I’ve read 500 million underfunded. But the scenario if it was bought by a non pension company and the options you could get are not pretty. But I have to research more.

But other articles that disturbed me about it, if a non pension company did buy it, how it could affect everyone who has one. Really disturbing

Fujitsu bought IBM’s POS hardware business. So why not NCR.

As expected, no one wants to buy the Financial side. Voyix immediately has eyes on it. Isn’t Atleos the side that will maintain the pensions going forward? If so that makes even more sense, a buyer won’t have to worry about funding NCR pension plans.

Makes sense and I can see a ncr Atleos merger with Diebold once they get their finances figured out to become a powerhouse. There is no one else that is able to service the big banks other than those 2 companies.
