Go ahead and give it a shot. After the strike is settled, the over/under on you getting walked out is 5 minutes. I'll be taking the under for $500.

Better yet take all of your 14 sick days and personal business days this year - it’s more random and they can’t figure it was planned to hold against you. Take them asap
